A FANTASTIC afternoon was had by all when Kemble Care south team carers hosted an afternoon tea for their clients and colleagues.
Two clients who had not left their home in almost a year came down to enjoy the afternoon with the assistance of their carers.
With plenty of cake, sandwiches, homemade lemonade and lots more, who could resist.
It was lovely to see two clients who used to play bridge together, meet for the first time in years and have a well-deserved catch up.
Tintinnabulis Handbell Trio came along and provided musical entertainment for everyone.
The afternoon was a fantastic success and the team managed to raise £200 for Hereford Kidney Centre in memory of a one of their clients who benefited hugely from the centre.
The centre provides a medical service that revitalises patients both physically and emotionally. It works alongside Birmingham Hospital and was inaugurated in 2014 and features 24 dialysis stations and four isolation rooms.
