CELEBRATING 35 years of period performances, The Hanover Band is returning to Hereford for a concert at The Courtyard.
The evening of classical music will be directed by the distinguished British harpsichordist and conductor Andrew Arthur and feature music by Handel, J.S.Bach, C.P.E.Bach and J.S.Bach’s pupil Carl Friedrich Abel.
The Hanover Band is one of the UK’s finest period instrument orchestras, with specialist musicians whose objective is to enable audiences to gain a better feeling for what earlier music actually sounded like when heard in “favourable circumstances”.
The performance will feature Rachel Brown on flute, Jorge Jimenez on violin, and Kelly McCusker on violin.
Free transport is available to this event as part of The Courtyard’s transport scheme. Minibuses will pick customers up from Ross and Leominster an hour before the show. The transport is free but must be pre-booked online or by contacting the box office.
The Hanover Band will be at The Courtyard on Sunday at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
