TALENTED children from across the county are teaming up with a charitable trust to bring beautiful music to some of Herefordshire’s most tranquil places.

Young musicians from Hereford Cathedral School, Weobley Primary School and St Paul’s Primary School will be taking part in an evening of fabulous music at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Weobley on Friday, March 4 from 7pm.

The Chamber Concert, organised in partnership with the Herefordshire Historic Churches Trust (HHCT), will include Hereford Cathedral School’s Senior Chamber Choir, Colla Voce, Chamber Groups and the internationally renowned Cantabile Girls’ Choir.

Hereford Cathedral School’s Director of Music, David Evans said that the performance is a prime opportunity for some of the county’s best musicians to come together to showcase their talent in beautiful surroundings.

He added: “This will be a truly wonderful concert. Getting such a high calibre of music out into the community will, I hope, raise the profile of classical music, while showcasing some of our most beautiful churches.

“We are delighted to be working with HHCT and a number of other schools in the region we hope that this series will continue to support the organisation’s great work.”
