CELEBRATE the start of the Christmas season with beautiful concert of seasonal organ music by Peter Dyke, as he presents his annual Christmas Sparkle concert.
Peter, the assistant director of music at Hereford Cathedral, will give a 45-minute performance (starting at 1.15pm) of Advent and Christmas favourites, a number of which are of his own arrangements and to which he has added his own seasonal twist, m.
"Advent and Christmas is such a wonderful time of year," said Peter, "and it is a joy to be able to share some of the wonderful music there is with so many. It’s always fun to see what new ideas I can work into the programme, which will range from extracts from Bach to Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride."
Admission is free, and a retiring collection will be taken in aid of Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust.
