HEREFORD singer-songwriter Sasha McVeigh is set to kick off her UK tour tomorrow.
And she's back in the city where her dreams of becoming a successful musician first began.
Sasha, a former Fairfield High School pupil, has played to crowds of thousands around the USA, performing at the Academy of Country Music awards in Las Vegas last year.
She has recently been nominated in two categories - female vocalist of the year and UK album of the year - by the British Country Music Awards.
Tomorrow, she kicks off her UK tour at the Courtyard in Hereford, a place where she was once a member of the youth theatre.
Speaking about her home county, she said: "I must admit that after travelling all over the UK and USA, coming home to views of the Golden Valley and the Black Mountains is perfection. There’s not another place in the UK or USA quite like it."
Tomorrow's show starts at 7.30pm and tickets can be bought online at courtyard.org.uk
