THE Saturday Cafe, the series of informal lunchtime music gigs at the Courtyard, has just released its May line-up, starting on Saturday with a welcome return visit from Bridget and the Big Girls' Blues, who pay homage to the great women of the blues.
Saturday, May 12, brings some quality jazz with Ruth Bowen's Gardenia Swin. Double bass player and vocalist Ruth, and drummer Richard Bowen are joined by international guitar maestro Mike Britton.
All sessions, promoted by the Music Pool in partnership with the Courtyard, run from noon to 2pm, and admission is free.
