CLLR Chris Branford held her civic Sunday event at St Edward's church, Knighton on July 12. At the event there were Knighton Town Councillors, mayors from surrounding towns as well as local county councillors, the High Sheriff Lt Col (retired) Mike Lewis, Brecon and Radnorshire MP Chris Davies, A M Kirsty Williams, Knighton Primary School choir, Junior Mayor Holly Husbands and deputy Robbie Hodnett and guest singer Paul Dark who joined with friends and family of the mayor for the service led by the Rev Melia Cope. There were readings by Robert Reeves and Cllr John Brunt. Chris thanked everyone for coming to the service and all those who contributed and helped with the arrangements for the event.
