HAY'S most spellbinding band, Cherryshoes return for another evening of awesome left-field indie psychedelic pop on Saturday.
Support comes from electrifying hiphop act Art Hop Life, which merges London street culture, art, film, photography and projects it through music, and they're also joined by Shop Girl, a four-piece group from Cardiff recently described as ‘Buddy Holly having a knife fight in the dark with the Smiths…and fronted by a young Dylan Thomas’.
"If Stevie Nicks had recorded on 4AD Records (Cocteau Twins, Pixies , Bauhaus etc)it would have sounded like this," – Adam Walton of BBC Radio Wales said of Cherryshoes.
Cherryshoes at The Globe at Hay on Saturday from 8pm. To book, go to globeathay.org or call 01497 821762.
