A DOG has been reunited with its owners following a Hereford Times appeal.
Last Tuesday we reported that a terrified rescue Border Collie called Boe had run away from her new home in Bobblestock, Hereford.
Happily, she was found by a man near the Wellington/ Canon Pyon area and Boe was reunited with her overjoyed owners yesterday morning.
Although a little skinny, she seems well considering she was away from her home for more than a week.
A volunteer from Dog Lost, Lisa Mellings, said that after seeing the article online, a member of the public put two and two together when their friend said a dog had been hanging around his kennels.
The man who found her managed to gain her trust over a few days and shut her in a spare kennel before her owners arrived.
Lisa said: “I received almost daily phone calls with sightings of Boe and they were all via Hereford Times. It enabled us to track and plot where she was moving around.”
