THE Knighton Macmillan Cancer support group held their annual Macmillan walk on May 26.
As usual this attracted a large amount of people and raised over £1,000 for the charity. After starting from the Knighton Hotel car park walkers made their way up Broad Street and then West Street before heading down past the Offa’s Dyke Centre to the banks of the River Teme. Walkers then followed the Offa’s Dyke path until reaching Kinsley Road where they then headed back to town via Kinsley Road and Station Road. The walkers then stopped at the Horse and Jockey for refreshments donated by Jacqui Salt and her family.
