LOCALS are pleased to announce the planned public access defibrillator for Staunton-on-Wye and neighbouring villages is now ready to use.
Diane Pearson from the West Midlands Ambulance Service brought the machine to the village on May 16 and officially handed it over from WMAS to the Parish Council. She gave an informative briefing to around 25 people at the village hall, including some children. The machine was then installed in its eye-catching cabinet on the outside of the hall.
All parish households should by now have received an introduction letter and a fridge magnet to display the cabinet entry code in their home. Local business will also be receiving public notices to display for staff and customers. If anyone has not received information/magnets please contact Sheila Marsh 01981 501031 or sheila@opustrg.co.uk
