A DELICIOUS selection of some of the world's most popular tunes will be served up by Opera on the Run, when they present their latest show, Spaghetti Opera, at Ledbury Market Theatre and the village hall in Lingen, near Wigmore.
A cocktail of opera favourites will be on the menu, along with generous servings of hilarious comedy, with hearts flambeed and friends toasted when the chef develops a passion for his beautiful young waitress. Just as a succesful recipe for love has been perfected, the local mafia arrive and declare the restaurant a health hazard.
Despite the heat, you'll want to stay in the kitchen as the comedy plays out to the irresistible sound of music from Verdi and Puccini, including such favourites as La donna e mobile, O sole mio and the drinking song from la Traviata.
Catch Spaghetti Opera at Ledbury Market Hall tomorrow, Friday 16, at 8pm or at Lingen Village Hall on Sunday, March 18 at 7.30pm.
