PAINTINGS, prints and drawings by artist Terence Dowse go on display at Hereford Museum and Art Gallery from Saturday.
A professor of fine art at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, Terry's work is about transformation and materialisation, with a developing expansion into computer generated work.
Starting off flat, sometimes on large expanses of canvas up to 60 square metres in size, his work moves from two to three dimensions.
They are then shaped and formed into three-dimensional objects that realise the full potential of the painted surface.
Terry has exhibited regularly in the UK, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and America. He now wishes to re-establish himself as an artist in the UK and, in particular, Herefordshire and Monmouth, where he has family. The exhibition will run to May 9 and admission to the gallery is free.
