WITNESSES are being sought after a motorist was assaulted in Kington.
At around 1.30pm on Sunday, March 4, the victim was driving his Mitsubishi Pajero in Hergest Road when two dogs ran out into the middle of the road, causing him to come to a halt, as did a small white van travelling in the opposite direction.
The victim was then approached by two pedestrians, one of whom punched him in the face before the pair departed.
Police want to talk to anyone who witnessed the incident - particularly the van driver or the occupants of a small blue Suzuki 4x4 which had been travelling just ahead of the victim's car.
Anyone with information should contact PC Dick Allford at Kington Police Station on 08457 444888.
