THE internationally acclaimed Neath Male Voice Choir return to Hereford on Saturday to sing in St Francis Xavier's church in Broad Street.
The choir performed a St David's Day concert in the Shirehall last March and on the Sunday morning delighted parishioners with an impromptu concert in St Francis Xavier's Church.
The Choir were so impressed with the acoustics in the church that they asked parish priest, Fr Michael Evans, if they could return and sing for a charity of his choice.
It was decided that the beneficiaries should be the Herefordshire Historic Churches Trust. Fr Michael commented that 'the Trust is a good friend to all the churches in Herefordshire, not least St Francis Xavier's, which has benefitted from much support over the years. Without the work of the HHCT we may well have lost many of our beautiful Herefordshire churches'
