KIZZY Stapleton, a 14-year-old Sutton St Nicholas schoolgirl is making her mark as a charity fundraiser. Two years ago she decided to have her long hair cut for the Little Princess Trust, which makes real-hair wigs for children affected by cancer. She then turned the gesture into a sponsorship which raised £800 for the trust. She followed this up with a coffee morning in the village hall for the annual Macmillan event, raising £300. The Aylestone Business and Enterprise College pupil, currently taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award scheme, repeated the coffee morning for this year’s nationwide fundraiser for the charity, and with the help of her family raised £538.
