ROCK the Farm, the boutique festival from Chase Distillery now in its third year, is, for the first time, opening to the public in August.
Situated in the picturesque Chase Distillery grounds and surrounding Rosemaund farm, Rock the Farm plays host to the finest industry folk, with the emphasis firmly on celebrating the art of cocktail creation with some of the best bartenders in the UK, along with a culinary extravaganza in the shape of delicious street food, intimate sets from incredible up-and-coming and established artists, including the Mystery Jets, games and tasting stations and the opportunity to watch finalists in the Grand Final of the Chase Cup Cocktail Competition.
Central to RTF is the Chase Cup, a cocktail competition where bartenders compete on a flatbed trailer pulled by a tractor in front of a panel of industry-specific judges. RTF 2012′s winner was Mark Scott from Hyde & Co in Bristol, who beat five other competitors from around the country, each having only one hour to create a British cocktail using a box of mystery ingredients; from Herefordshire honey to Chase’s own freshly pressed apple juice.
Weekend tickets start from £100. Find out more at rockthefarm.co.uk
