INTERNATIONAL acoustic-roots music star Warren James will be treating Leominster to a free Bank Holiday concert at The Grape Vaults on Monday evening.
Warren’s unique brand of turbo charged acoustic-roots, rock-a-billy and blues, a genre called skiffle, is proving a hit at global music events where the young and well travelled guitarist and banjo player has a reputation for building excitement among music lovers.
Like many before him Warren James lives on the road, travelling from town to town entertaining audiences. His high energy concerts and unique voice have taken him across Europe and America, while shared billing with iconic names in music, Brian May and Joe Brown among them, demonstrate his ever-increasing popularity.
Warren's 2011 tour clocked up an amazing 166 dates and reviews of his 2014 concert at Salford’s prestigious Lowry theatre declare that "skiffle and the acoustic-roots revival has never been in safer hands".
Warren James will be at The Grape Vaults in Leominster on Monday at 8pm.
