YOUNG people enhanced their basketball skills with the help of a former professional player.
Youngsters from Herefordshire’s Supported Housing for Young People Project (SHYPP) joined students from Hereford Academy to learn from former British Basketball League player Carl Millar.
Karen Pritchard, assistant director of Kemble Housing Association, which manages SHYPP, said: “It was brilliant fun, inspiring and something that I think the young people will continue to reflect on as they start their personal journey to open their talent.”
The day was part of the Foyer Federation’s Open Talent campaign, which emphasises talent spotting and building in young people.
