HEREFORD has a new restaurant, The Den, which opened last week in West Street.
General manager Jade Owen will run the business and front of house services, having previously run front of house services for a number of years. Gavin Morgan, head chef, has15 years’ experience including working in Michelin-starred restaurants in York and Leeds. Joining Gavin in the kitchen is second chef, Helena Le Maistre, who will also assist Jade with the running of the business. Helena has worked in a 2 AA rosette restaurant in central London and before that she was head chef at a local Hereford pub.
Until recently all three were working together in a popular Hereford restaurant and decided to take advantage of the opportunity to open their own place.
The Den, which promises to offer good quality, locally sourced and freshly prepared meals, will be open from 10am until 10pm each day.
