VITAL SPARK - Sunday at 6pm, a choir from Malvern will be singing and playing church music with a difference in the church of St James the Great at Ocle Pychard. Tickets cost £7.50 and will include supper, and are available from Sally Ridler on 01432 820328 or Pat Lewis on 01432 820391. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night.
MUCH COWARNE WI - The WI meets at 7.30pm prompt on the second Friday of every month at Stoke Lacy village hall. On October 11 members will hear Penny Platts give a presentation on the history of cider.
There will also be tastings.
The competition for a tankard will involve the making of a Victoria sponge.
HARVEST LUNCH - The annual Ullingswick harvest lunch in aid of St Luke’s church will be held on October 27 at Burley Gate village hall from 12.30pm.

HARVEST LUNCH - On October 20, Much Cowarne will hold its harvest celebrations. The harvest service will be held at 11am in St Mary’s church and there will be a harvest lunch in Burley Gate village hall at 12.30pm for 1pm. The cost for adults will be £7 and children £4.
As usual, there will be a bar. If anyone would like to come to the lunch they are asked to book with Jill Cooksley 01432 820264 or jjcooksley@hotmail.com.
Anyone who would like to contribute produce for the harvest service is asked to contact the churchwardens or any member of the PCC.
WOODLAND WALK - At Moreton Wood, Ullingswick, there will be a Woodland walk and open day on October 13, from 2pm-5pm. The event will include a guided woodland walk at 2.30pm, traditional woodland craft demonstrations, chainsaw carving, story telling, face painting and more for adults and children.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH AND DRAW - Burley Gate village hall committee have announced they’re planning a Christmas lunch and grand draw on December 15, at Burley Gate village hall, 12.30pm for 1pm. Catering by Elaine's Farm Kitchen.
