THE Met Office has issued a warning for Herefordshire over heavy rain expected this afternoon.
The county, along with the entire West Midlands region, has been put on yellow alert.
While rainfall of between 10-40mm per hour is expected from 1pm, thunderstorms are also a possiblity.
'Yellow alert' is the lowest level warning for severe weather, with conditions likely to affect road surfaces and affect travel times but pose little significant risk of flooding.
