HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATION - Excitement is mounting as plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Weobley High School (opened as Weobley County Secondary School in 1963) gather momentum.
There has been much interest in the planned open evening to be held on September 19, beginning at 4.30pm with the cutting of a celebration cake. While classrooms will be open for visitors to take a walk down memory lane, there will be rare footage of the first year of the school’s life and a display of photographs and mementos from across the decades. For more information or if anyone has any items which could be loaned for display during the evening, please phone the school office and speak to Sue Davies on 01544 318159.
MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING - Weobley Primary School is holding a coffee morning on September 25, 9.15am-11.15am at the school.
