COFFEE MORNING - There will be a coffee morning at Stoke Lacy Church on Saturday from 10.30am till noon. This event will be hosted by Village Voices who will be giving an informal coffee concert and launching a new CD at just £5 per disc. Produce will also be on sale, including fruit, vegetables, jam, breads, cakes and flowers.
WI - Much Cowarne Women’s Institute will meet in Stoke Lacy Village Hall at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday) for a social evening. The competition will be for “an arrangement in green”.
STOKE LACY AND DISTRICT GARDEN CLUB - On Tuesday members will be making an afternoon visit to Dale Farm Cottage at Leigh, where they’ll be looking at flowers for cutting. New members are always welcome. Full details from Jo Wells on 01885 400200.
RIDE AND STRIDE - The national Ride and Stride event, with participants cycling or walking between their local churches, take place on Saturday. The Stoke Lacy organisers are Janet and Mike Watson.
