COUNCIL - Bosbury and Coddington Parish Council meets at 7.30pm in the parish hall tonight (Thursday). Everyone is welcome to attend. A copy of the agenda will be displayed on the parish council noticeboard outside the hall.
CHURCHES - On Sunday, everyone is warmly invited to the Hop Churches Gathered Communion Service at 10.30am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. The service, at which the Hop Churches Singers will join the Bosbury Church Choir, celebrates the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary and bid farewell to Paul and Rosie Roberts. Paul has been organist and choirmaster at Bosbury and this will be his last Sunday before he goes to Ripon College, Oxfordshire, to train for the priesthood. He and his wife Rosie have been very active in all the parishes of the Hop Churches and will be missed.
A lunch will follow the service in the parish hall at about noon. All are welcome but let Paul Roberts (on 07735 6430335) or Liz Clutterbuck (01531 640415) know if you would like to join the lunch.
WI - The next meeting of Bosbury WI is in the parish hall next Thursday, September 12, at 7.30pm.
MARKET - There will be a farmers'
market at Bosbury Parish Hall on Saturday, September 21, between 10.30am and noon.
