VILLAGE WEEKEND - Mark August 17 and 18 in the diary. The village fete will be on the August 18. There will be a fun pet dog show (£1 entry on the day), scarecrow competition based on a nursery rhyme and a car boot sale at £5 per car. Call 340646 to book a pitch or for further details.
Donations of books, bric-a-brac, cakes, bottles, etc. for stalls will be gratefully received. More details nearer the time.
