BRITISH Heart Foundation (BHF) shops in Herefordshire have raised £88,000 over the past year.
This means donations and unwanted items taken to shops in Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Leominster have been turned into lifesaving local equipment, including 12 defibrillators for the county, and services such as two heart support groups and a heart nurse in Herefordshire.
Darren Irwin, BHF area manager, said: “The generosity of people in the Herefordshire area has been astonishing.”
