THE second man to have been found dead at a quarry near Ledbury has been named.

Justas Juzenas, of Three Crosses Road, Ross-on-Wye, died at Gullet Quarry close to Eastnor on Friday evening.

Justas was believed to be in his 20s.

His death came only six days after Worcester’s Russell O'Neill drowned at the same location.

Police are still investigating the circumstances and a post mortem was due to be held this morning.

Details have been passed to the Herefordshire Coroner who will open an inquest in the next few days.

Police are reiterating advice for people not to swim in rivers, lakes and ponds due to the potential dangers – particularly during the current hot spell.

Cold water can lead to cramp while strong undercurrents and obstructions hidden beneath the surface such as debris and weeds are listed as further risks.
