VILLAGE FETE – This year it is being held on July 13 at Court Farm, courtesy of Elaine and Richard Andrews. The fete opens at 2.30pm, following a ceremony at 1.45pm when the village will mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of Wergins Bridge which crosses the river on the Hereford to Sutton Road. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and procession to Court Farm led by a steamroller and vintage tractor.

The road will be closed for a short time during this ceremony. All are welcome to come along and enjoy the occasion. At the fete there will be all the usual stalls plus some new ones – something for everyone to enjoy.
