FLOWER FESTIVAL – The Fromes Hill Flower Festival will be held at St Matthew’s Church on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday the event will run from 10am till 6pm. On Sunday the church will be open from 10am for viewing and there will be a Songs of Praise service at 4pm.
On Monday, and for the rest of the week, the church will be open for viewing from 10am till 4pm.
Free admission, but donations to the church will be welcomed. If anyone would like to sponsor a display as part of the festival they are asked to call Jill Southall on 01531 640288 or Joan Rose on 640587. Any donations will be gratefully received. There will also be a children’s and small adults corner featuring ‘quirky’ fruit and vegetables, drawings, paintings, home-made muffins, painted hard-boiled eggs, etc.
Parking is available at the Wheatsheaf pub apart from the period between noon and 3pm on Sunday.
PARISH COUNCIL – Bishops Frome and Fromes Hill Parish Council will meet in Fromes Hill Church on Tuesday. All parishioners are welcome to attend.
