PRE-SCHOOL FETE - The Burley Gate Pre-School will be holding a fete this Saturday from 1pm till 3pm. Funds raised will be used to take the children on a trip to Newbridge Farm in July.
COMMEMORATIVE WEATHER VANE/SCULPTURE - At the meeting on June 18 councillors discussed and agreed proposals to install a commemorative weather vane/structure in the centre of the Burley Gate Roundabout at the junction of the A465 and the A417. The structure, which is being proposed by Much Cowarne Parish Council, but jointly sponsored by Ocle Pychard Group PC, is intended to celebrate the Queen’s 2012 Diamond Jubilee.
