FETE DATE - A silent art auction is just one of many attractions set to entertain visitors to the village fete on July 13. There will also be games, activities, refreshments, a bar and barbecue and stalls selling everything from books and plants to home-made cakes. It takes place at the Vine from 2pm- 5pm. Guests will also enjoy, weather permitting, free entry to the venue’s gardens, which are part of the charity fund-raising National Gardens Scheme.
FLICKS IN THE STICKS - Presents Lincoln (12A) in the Lady Emily Hall at 7.30pm, on Saturday. Refreshments will be available before the film and at the half-time interval. Tickets will £4.50 for adults, £2.50 under-16s.
