SOCIAL WHIST DRIVE - Results of the whist drive held in New Strand on April 29. Winners were Sue Davies, Chris Horton, Jean Chant, Sandra Payne, Trevor Chant and Sue Holdaway. The next event will be on May 20, and not the last Monday in the month.

EARDISLEY GROUP PARISH COUNCIL - The annual village meeting will be at 7pm on May 20 in Eardisley Village Hall followed by a parish council meeting. All are welcome.
SPRING SALE/COFFEE MORNING - Eardisley and District branch of the Royal British Legion holds its spring sale in the village hall on May 18 from 10.30am. Great bargains in plants and cakes plus books, bric-a-brac, tombola and grand draw. Entry, £1, includes coffee and biscuits.
