KNIT AND CHAT – Ladies at the weekly coffee and chat are putting their time there to good use by knitting blankets for the local Home Start charity. Anyone who would like to join them would be welcome at the New Bridge community centre, every Wednesday from 10.30am - noon.
LOCAL HISTORY EVENING – This evening, Thursday, Stella Mitchell from the Land of Lost Content Museum will display and talk about everyday items from the 1930s to 1960s. Everyone is welcome at the New Bridge community centre at 7.30pm.
Admission costs £2 to include coffee and biscuits.
BONUS BALL – Joan Rush won £25 with number 14.
