A CHARITY dinner and dance will be held in Clifford next weekend.
The event will be held at the Castlefields, Clifford, on Saturday April 27 to raise funds for Air Ambulance and St Michael’s Hospice.
The evening will feature a performance from local band Mirror Ball, a disco, hot fork buffet and dessert.
Organiser Lauren Atkinson, 23, from Dorstone, said: “I chose to raise money for Air Ambulance as I know how essential their role is in our rural community and it requires so much funding to remain operating.
“There are lots of local charities I would have liked to support but St Michael's Hospice was another easy choice as I have friends and family who have used their services and it's nice to be able to give back a little.
“The event is open to everyone and anyone looking for a good time with good company, good music, good food and all for a great cause.”
Tickets for the event are £20 before April 20 and need to be booked in advance for catering purposes.
