AN elderly resident was helped from his home after a small but severe bedroom fire.
Firefighters used extraction equipment to remove smoke caused by the fire, which was caused by an electrical fault, in Wordsworth Road in Hereford.
The fire brigade were called to the incident at 9.07pm on Thursday and a distressed man, who was treated for smoke inhalation, was helped from the building by his son-in-law.
