VILLAGE HALL NEWS - Users are benefiting from the recently installed heat pump unit which is providing a more comfortable environment for hall events. The new heating system was installed by West Mercia Air Conditioning Ltd of Hereford and was funded by a grant from the Big Lottery Awards for All Fund. The hall management committee acknowledge the grant and thank Awards for All for their support.
The next hall project is improving the hall kitchen and the committee are holding a Promise Auction tomorrow (Friday) at 7 pm to launch the kitchen fund. Lots promised include tickets for both Gloucester and Newport Gwent Dragons rugby matches, tea at Holme Lacy House and the Angel Hotel Abergavenny, meals at the Crown, Longtown, the Crown at Pantygelli, the Bridge at Kentchurch and Restaurant 1861 at Cross Ash. Entry £3 to include light refreshments.
