GARWAY LIVE - March 23, 8pm with the Scary Little Girls and their highly acclaimed show The Full Bronte Literary Cabaret. This fun-filled event will delight literature aficionados and theatre fans alike - and of course every devoted Brontephile. The Full Brontë is a riotous, cabaret celebration of the lives and times of the Brontë sisters. Hosted by larger-than-life compares, Nom de Plume and Monika, this intimate and engaging homage to English literature’s most famous sorority will inform and entertain its audience in equal measure.

Theatregoers will be led on a wild journey through the lives and works of all the Brontë sisters – not just the literary ones – with music, song, comedy and audience participation. Presented by Cornish performance hub, Scary Little Girls, this immersive evening of wuthering delights has received glowing reviews across the country. No strangers to storytelling, over the past year SLG have entertained audiences at a wide variety of venues including the du Maurier Festival, Chester Literary Festival, and Brighton Fringe.

DRY STONE WALLING - The March meeting of the Garway Heritage Group features an illustrated talk by professional dry stone waller Chris Hodges, who will describe his day-to-day work and the problems encountered, and will also talk about his ongoing academic research into the use of dry stone masonry in the vernacular buildings of the England-Wales border area.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, at 7.30pm in Garway Village Hall. All are welcome.

Entrance is free for members with a charge of £3 for nonmembers; refreshments are provided.
