TENBURY suffered their second Worcestershire Ladies' League Division 1 defeat in consecutive weeks when they went down 3-1 at home to Droitwich.
After an even start, Droitwich broke through to take the lead but Tenbury piled on the pressure, forcing a number of short corners, and eventually gained their reward when Emily Davies swept in the equaliser.
After the interval, both teams went in search of the win but it was the visitors who took the lead after some fluent passing.
Skipper Gemma Toms, who had been forced from the field by a hand injury, came back on in an attempt to inspire her side but, despite good pressure, it was Droitwich who scored again to seal the win.
