HEREFORD College of Arts is working in partnership with the Hay Festival this year to bring you the Young Artist of the Year Competition.
To enter you’ll need a bit of imagination and to be aged between 11 and 16 years old.
Entries are welcomed in a range of materials including painting, drawing, illustration, collage and print.
Artists are asked to create images that interpret the theme for this year’s celebrated Hay Festival in May, ‘Imagine The World’.
There are two categories, 11-13 years with a first prize of £70 and a term’s subscription to HCA’s Saturday Arts and 14-16 years. Selected entrants will also have their work displayed in the Young Artist of the Year Exhibition at Hereford College of Arts during the summer.
To download an application form, go to hca.ac.uk and follow the link to Young Artist of the Year competition.
The closing date for entries is April 26
