LOCAL theatre practitioner, lecturer and actor Helen Wingrave is holding theatre skills classes at The Courtyard every Friday night from 8pm to 10pm.
“My aim is to facilitate a meeting place for performers, directors and writers, including novice, mildly curious and the hardened professional to explore share and express theatre skills and techniques,” says Helen, who appeared in Coronation Street in 1999.
“I would also like participants to lead sessions if they have specialisms they feel will benefit the group as a whole.
“I will also be directing two plays and co-ordinating the Scratch Night at the Write On Festival, which takes place at The Courtyard in July.
