DRAGONS PLAYGROUP - The group thanks all who supported the soup and pudding evening. A grand total of £640 was raised.

BUSES - Through a partnership with Fownhope Parish Council, two new bus services have started. A service to Ledbury runs on the fourth Friday of the month, stopping at the Moon at 9.42am and Sufton Rise at 9.44am. The return bus leaves at 12.35pm outside the Market Place. The second is the Friday and Saturday late bus – residents can now catch the 6.50pm from Mordiford into Hereford to enjoy the cinema, Courtyard etc, and travel back on the 10.55pm service which departs from the Courtyard. PARISH COUNCIL - All residents should have received their copy of The Dragon, the quarterly newsletter produced by the parish council. If you have not had yours please get in touch. For next financial year’s budget, councillors are minded to keep the precept at the current rate of £10,945 but will confirm that at the next meeting on December 11 at 7.30pm at Mordiford School. Thanks to a Wye Valley walk grant, a large number of stiles have been replaced by self-closing gates which make it easier to access the beautiful walks within the parish. FAIR - The church Christmas fair, due to be held in Mordiford School on Saturday has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

It will now be in the school on December 8 from 10am to noon and the 200 Club draw will take place there.

CONCERT - On December 15, The Police Choir and Mordiford School Choir will be uniting for a concert in Mordiford Church from 7pm-9pm followed by refreshments in the school. Tickets are £8 adult, children £2.

PCC - The postponed parochial church council meeting will take place tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm at Sufton Court.
