WHIST CLUB - Prize winners at the whist drive held in the village hall on November 13 were Ann Preece, Margaret Kerrigan, Kath Evans, Anne Preece, Frank Evans, Trevor Chant, Allen Exton, Whyndam Evans and Jinks Price. The next whist drives, until the end of the year are: November 26, December 4 and December 18.

CHURCH - Wreath making, under the tuition of Edna Hughes takes place in St Mary's Church next Wednesday, starting at 10.30am. Book with Edna on 01544 340268. On November 30, the popular Christmas market in the church will run from 6 to 9pm. There will be a variety of stalls, wreaths, candles, jewellery, stained glass, decorations, crafts and soaps.
LUNCH - The next Sunday lunch in the village hall will be this Sunday at 12.30pm for 1pm.
