FORMER Hereford Cathedral School student Debbie Clarke is destined for stardom, having recently signed a five-album recording deal with Warner Music International.
Debbie, who studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was heard singing some years ago by Herefordshire business couple Lyn and Judy Booth who were so impressed they agreed to sponsor her.
Through connections of theirs, she appeared several times on Aled Jones’s BBC Radio 2 show, where the legendary producer Tony Visconti, who has produced, among others, David Bowie and the late Marc Bolan.
