The Cotswold stone tiled roof has recently been overhauled and the vaulted ceilings feature extensive beams, adding to the charm of this delightful home. The garages adjoining bedroom two have been insulated and there is scope to create ancillary accommodation if required. A short distance away is a a stable block and two paddocks, extending in all to about 3.36 acres, which is available by separate negotiation.

The Accommodation

The front door leads into an entrance hall with a log burning stove, and a cloakroom at the rear. Double doors on the right lead to the dining room, which is open-plan to the adjacent sitting room, with a central double sided log burner servicing both rooms, together with sliding doors into the courtyard. To the left of the hall is the spacious, triple aspect kitchen/breakfast room with a flagged floor. There is a two oven Aga, electric built-in oven, microwave, halagen hob, fridge and freezer. There is an excellent range of hand painted cupboards with granite work surfaces and a useful utility room off. There are four bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes, and two with en suite showers, plus a stylish family bathroom with separate shower. Stairs from the smallest bedroom lead to a first floor attic room, ideal for a study/teenager's den.

Approached over a long private drive, a sweeping gravelled drive leads to an excellent range of garaging providing copious amounts of storage and/or workshop space. The gardens lie to the front of the property and are laid mainly to lawn, with mature trees and paved seating areas, ideal for al fresco dining. There is also a summer house and seating area, to enjoy the evening sun. Behind the property are uninterrupted views over the adjacent farmland.
