OATES Alec David Of Barklie Court. Passed away peacefully at Hereford Hospital on April 1st 2021, aged 74 years. Much loved Husband of the late Jane Oates, former Landlord of The Britannia Inn, Alec will be sadly missed by all Family and Friends. A private family Funeral will take place at Hereford Crematorium later this month. If desired, donations for Macmillan Nurses may be sent to Bayley Brothers, 17-19 Cotterell Street, Hereford, HR4 0HH. Tel: 272465.

Alec you were the best stepfathe and friend i could of ever asked for. I cannot begin to explain how difficult that last night was holding your hand while you drifted away. We will alway think of you, we will always speak of you and you will always have a place in my heart. Alecs funeral is on Thursday 22nd April at 1:30pm at the Crematorium. Unfortunately numbers are limited but please feel free to line the drive of the Crematorium if you would like to pay your respects to the legend that is Alec David Oates. Kel xxx
