Bernie, you will be greatly missed my old mate.

We had some laughs and good times over the years in Bromyard.
Although I hadn't seen you for some 20 years, I always hoped that I would bump into you soon.
Now I guess that I will have to wait until my turn comes.
Wherever you are, take care my old friend.

Please thank your trainee very much for her actions to help my Dad. I hope it will help her and her friend who found him, to know that he died as he had wanted, having just met the Hereford Times to do an article highlighting poverty in Newton Farm. Thanks to you all at SJA from Angela Maxwell (Nee Hunt) and Bernie's partner, Sue.

My dearest Dad, my friend and support when I needed it, you are always with me, as you are 'Just around the corner'. I truly believe we will be together again. I am comforted by your spirit which is all around me when I feel sad or miss you - you send me little signs that you are there now for me as you were always in this earthly life. Until we are together again, I will recall the good times we had together, strong in the belief that your spirit is with me whenever I think of you when picking Runner Beans, listen to Blackbirds sing, or whenever I visit our beloved Bromyard. Love you forever your daughter Angela X
