JAMIE Pitman has been confirmed as Hereford United's manager until the end of the season.
And the young boss has been given some experienced help with the appointment of Lennie Lawrence as technical director.
Lawrence, who managed Charlton, Grimsby, Bradford City, Luton Town and Middlesbrough, has plenty of experience in guiding a young manager.
Until May, the 63-year-old had performed a similar role with Bristol Rovers where he helped Paul Trollope establish the Pirates in League 1.
Pitman will continue to have Russell Hoult as his assistant and goalkeeping coach.
