YOUNG Chloe Tingle clinched a hat-trick of wickets for Ross-on-Wye as her side beat Cleobury Mortimer in the GB Lines Marches Division One.

Tingle was one of several under-16 players who featured for Ross.

They were put onto the back foot from the outset with captain and opener Ed Kemp hitting 79 off 77 balls before being bowled out by Adam Parkes and caught by Alex Davies.

Despite having only nine batsman at 98-3 Cleobury looked to be heading for a respectable total but were bowled out for 120 with Charlie Cole taking three catches.

In response captain Jack Donovan hit 32 and Graham Howls 31 as Ross reached their target off 30 overs.

After his haul of 221 runs last weekend Kington captain Michael Green was stopped just short of another century as he side beat Garnons by 118 runs.

Green had hit 99 off 85 balls before being bowled out by Carl Lewis 3-53 but with his team-mates chipping in Kington set a target of 228-9 off their 45 overs.

Opener Guy Pearson Gregory reached 49 before Green took his revenge denying his opposing number his half-century as Garnons fell well short and were bowled out for 110.

Goodrich remained top after continuing their winning to the season with a 155-run victory over Abergavenny.
