PAUL Stone clinched the Herefordshire Seniors County Championships following a sudden death hole.
The South Herefordshire course threw up a surprise as Stone was joined in a four-way tie with Tony Green, Jon Lucas (Herefordshire) and Roger Richards (Leominster) also hitting a gross score of 77.
A four hole medal play-off still couldn't separate South Herefordshire team-mates Stone and Green with Lucas finishing third.
Stone eventually prevailed with a birdie on the following sudden death hole to clinch the victory.
Host course player Terry Gibson clinch the Best Nett score of 66.
Ross-on-Wye players Geoff Thomas (68) and Dave Hart (71) finished second and third respectively.
